Symptoms
• Solder Joint Cracking: Heat expands internal circuits, causing the ECU to cut out or stall only when the engine bay gets hot.
• Total Communication Loss (U0100): Internal processors degrade completely, causing a no-crank condition and dashboard errors like "Stability Control Fault".
• Blown Driver Chips: Faulty ignition coils send high-voltage spikes backward, frying the ECU internals and killing spark/fuel to an entire engine bank (often cylinders 2, 4, and 6).
• Flashing Sensitivity: The unit permanently "bricks" or locks up if vehicle battery voltage dips even slightly during a software update or tune write.
